Premieres LSU campus Maestría Biosciences
Division of Life Sciences released a new master’s degree in Biosciences with 10 students from several states.
This new opportunity is added to the master’s degree in Plant Protection Vegetables with four years of history, and mastery inter Animal Sciences which is in the process, in addition to the possible opening of a specialty in Agribusiness.
The director of this unit, Luis Pérez Moreno, accompanied by the academic secretary, Eleazar Barbosa reported that from next week (August 17) starts with the new master’s students from Tabasco, Guanajuato and Hidalgo.
“All of our careers, most of them are accredited by a high level that we were creating at the national level a large number of students who were as seed or as raw materials for other graduate programs in other regions of the country,” said Secretary Scholar.
Derived from this, it was felt over an area to try to cover all the races that are taught in this division, seeing a master Biosciences viable to offer the student community.
“The idea was jointly a group of professors, 15 doctors, all grade (…) and science writers to form the master,” he said.
Wanted to attach the master nascent National postgraduates Conacyt in order to increase enrollment with more scholarships for those interested.
And although the Life Sciences Division is close to Cinvestav, a leader in the area of biotechnology, the academic said many global problems that can not be solved only with the required genetic and other strategies able to solve, such as those offered by the Division of Life Sciences.
Meanwhile, next August 21 will apply the admissions test for new students of the MSc in Crop Protection of Vegetables, starting classes in September with what is called the fifth generation.
The Masters in Bioscience joins the 55 graduate programs offered by the University of Guanajuato, in which more than 50% have national recognition.
At the Masters in Bioscience, 15 teachers, all with doctoral studies and most are members of the National System of Researchers (SNI).
